Heyward, Clare

Clare Heyward is James Martin Research Fellow for the Oxford Geoengineering Programme, University of Oxford. Clare is interested in issues of global justice and climate change, especially the cultural dimensions of climate justice (the subject of her D.Phil thesis), and justice towards future generations. During her time at the OGP, Clare has researched ethics and governance issues raised by the prospect of using geoengineering technologies as a response to climate change. From December 2013, Clare will be based at the University of Warwick, as a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Researcher. There she will undertake a three-year project on investigating and integrating various geoengineering responses into theories of climate justice.
